ReadyServer VPS User Guide
Everything you need to create, manage, upgrade, and pay for your ReadyServer VPS — all from the Ready Server mobile app.
Getting Started
Ready Server VPS is managed entirely through the Ready Server mobile app.
Things to Know Before Creating a VPS
Before you create a VPS, please read the following important information:
- VPS region selection is permanent. Once a VPS is created, the region cannot be changed.
- Every new VPS starts with the Basic plan. All VPS instances must be created using the Basic plan first before any upgrade is available.
- Operating system is selected during creation. You must choose your OS (Linux or Windows) during deployment.
- Billing starts after provisioning. Charges begin once the VPS is successfully created and running.
- Self-managed — you're in control. Your VPS arrives with your chosen operating system ready to go. From there, you're free to install, configure, and manage any software you like, exactly the way you want — while we look after the underlying infrastructure.
Creating Your VPS
Step 1: Download the Ready Server App
Download and install the Ready Server mobile app on your device.
Step 2: Top Up Your Account
Before creating a VPS, you need to top up your Ready Server account.
- Your top-up amount is converted into Ready Server Points.
- These points are used to pay for your VPS usage and related services.
Step 3: Create a VPS
To create a new VPS:
- Open the Create VPS section in the app.
- On the next screen, you will arrive at the VPS configuration page:
- The VPS specification (Basic plan) is shown for review only and cannot be changed at this stage.
- Select the VPS region where your server will be deployed.
- Select your preferred operating system (Linux or Windows).
- Review the required points for the selected VPS configuration.
- Confirm the deployment.
Your VPS will typically be provisioned within a few minutes. Each VPS is delivered with:
- The selected operating system pre-installed
- Network settings pre-configured
- Ready for immediate use
Managing Your VPS
After your VPS has been successfully provisioned, you can manage it directly from the Ready Server app. The app provides access to:
- Operating System Login Credentials – View your VPS username and password.
- Power Management – Start, stop, reboot, or safely shut down your VPS.
- Public IP Address – Easily view your VPS public IP for remote access.
- VPS Specifications – Check your current CPU, RAM, storage, and plan details.
- Upgrade Options – Upgrade your VPS resources as your requirements grow.
- Console & Rescue Mode – Recover your VPS anytime with browser-based console access and Rescue Mode, even if SSH or Remote Desktop becomes unavailable.
Upgrading Your VPS
As your needs grow, your VPS can grow with you. Once your Basic plan is up and running, you're free to move up to higher tiers whenever you're ready. A few things to keep in mind:
- Upgrades happen one tier at a time — the next tier opens up as soon as your current upgrade is complete.
- Your VPS needs to be powered off while the upgrade is applied.
- It's a good idea to pick a quiet maintenance window, so any brief downtime has minimal impact.
Backup
We keep a safety net in place: every ReadyServer VPS is backed up daily, at no extra cost. A few things worth knowing:
- Backups are kept for up to 7 days.
- They act as an internal safety net for disaster recovery on our side.
- For anything important, we still recommend keeping your own regular backups of your data and configurations — it's the best way to stay fully in control of your own recovery.
Bandwidth
Every ReadyServer VPS plan includes unmetered data transfer — so you can grow your traffic freely, with no meter to watch and no surprise bills. A few things worth knowing:
- No data-transfer charges or overage fees under normal use — what you see is what you pay.
- A simple Fair Usage Policy keeps the network fast and reliable for everyone.
- Your bandwidth runs on our shared high-capacity network, so dedicated or guaranteed-minimum bandwidth isn't part of the plan.
Billing
VPS Usage
Billing is simple and pay-as-you-go — you only pay for what you actually use:
- Usage is billed by the hour, with points deducted based on your real usage.
- Everything is settled daily, at 9:00 AM the following day.
Windows License
Running Windows? Just one thing to note: the Windows license is billed monthly, deducted on the first day of each month.
Self-Managed Service
With full root (Linux) or Administrator (Windows) access, your ReadyServer VPS is yours to shape exactly how you need. You have complete freedom over everything inside your server, including:
- Installing and configuring your software
- Operating system updates and maintenance
- Security and access management
- Deploying your applications
- Managing your databases
- Firewall and network configuration
- VPN and service setup
Meanwhile, we take care of the foundation your VPS runs on:
- Physical hardware
- Network connectivity
- Virtualization platform
In short: we keep the infrastructure running smoothly so you can focus on building — with the freedom to run your server exactly the way you want.
